The West Bengal Government has launched many Welfare Schemes in the State to provide Benefits to every Section of the Society. Today we are going to talk about the Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme, it is a flagship scheme launched in February, to provide financial assistance to women from the Economically Weaker Section of Society. West Bengal Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme 2024

West Bengal Mamta Banerjee’s chief minister launched the Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme in February 2021 to financially assist women from the Economically Weaker Section of the Society. In this Scheme, Women aged 25-60 years and enrolled in the Swasthya Sathi Scheme will benefit. 

Under this Scheme, women belonging to the SC/ST Community will get Rs. 1000 per month while Rs. 500 per month will be given to others, around 1.5 crore women have been Registered under this Scheme. 

Objectives of Lakshmir Bhandar Scheme 

• To empower Women and Make them Financially Independent by providing them with Financial Assistance.
• Every woman from SC/ST Community will get 1000 Rupees per month as Financial Assistance.
• Women Belonging to other castes will get Rs. 500 per Month.
• To provide financial assistance to buy essential Things.

• The applicant should be a Permanent Resident of West Bengal.
• The applicant should be a woman.
• The age of the applicant should be between 25 to 60 years.

• First Step is to visit the Official website of the Scheme.
• On the Homepage click on the Download Form Link. 
• Click Here to download the Lakshmir Bhandar Application Form.
• Now start filling the application form by Swasthyasathi Card Number.
• Enter Applicant Name, Mobile number and other Details.
• Fill the Application Form accurately and Attach all the Related Documents.
• Now submit it to the Nearest Social Social Office.

• Click on the Login Button Available on the Homepage.
• Now Enter Your Registered Mobile Number.
• Fill the Captcha Code and OTP Verification.
• Click on the Login Button to Login into the applicant Dashboard.

• Visit the Social Security West Bengal Official website.
• Click on the Lakshmir Bhandar Status.
• Now fill in the Application ID, Mobile number, or Aadhar Card.
• Enter the Captcha Code given on the Screen.
• Click on the Search Button and Now you may check Application Status and Payment Status.
