The Tamil Nadu Government has decided to provide some benefits to construction workers under the state’s Social Security Scheme. The government has issued a notification for Workers to Register Themselves into Tamilnadu unorganised Workers welfare Board to receive Benefits under the Social Security Schemes.

Nala Variyam Card has a permanent registration number of the Worker who has registered Themselves in the Tamil Nadu Welfare Board. The registered worker can get the welfare benefits of the welfare boards for their family members. Also, as age is the basis for receiving all the grants including education, and marriage, one should enter the details of their family members completely and their age correctly.

Procedure for Nala Variyam Card Registration 

  • Workers should only enter their valid phone number to log in.
  • Only login through their password (OTP) till approval of the Labor Assistance Commissioner.
  • Once the application is submitted an application number will be sent to their mobile phone.
  • If any clarification is required in their application the concerned officer will ask for the details and you will know that the details have been asked through SMS sent to the mobile number.
  • If their application is approved by the officer, they will be issued with a permanent registration number, a permanent registration number, and a password will be sent to their registered mobile number by SMS. You can download the registration certificate through it.

  • Visit the Official Website of the Tamilnadu Unorganised Workers Welfare Board.
  • Click on the New Registration Button given on the Homepage. 
  • Now Enter Your Mobile Number Click on the Get OTP Button and then Enter OTP to Verify Your Mobile Number.
  • Now click on whether Your Adhar has a Linked Mobile Number or Not. 
  • Enter Your Aadhaar Number to Verify it with Your Mobile Number. 
  • Now Enter Your Full Address and Employment Details.
  • Now Enter Your Bank Details, Upload Documents, and Passport Size photo. 
  • Then fill in Your Family Details and Click on the Submit button. 
  • Now You will get a permanent registration number and Password on Your Registered Mobile Number. 

Nala Variyam Card Renewal Procedure

  • Visit the Official Website login using their registration card number and mobile number
  • Once the application is submitted, an application number will be sent to their mobile phone.
  • If any clarification is required in their application the concerned officer will ask for the details and you will know that the details have been asked through SMS sent to the mobile number.
  • If their application is correct the approval of the officer will be given and the update details will be sent to them through SMS to their registered mobile number. Through it you can download the updated registration certificate.
  • If there is any change in the details already uploaded by the office or if there are any missing details then they can correct and submit the details. Their registration will be updated once the details corrected by them are approved by the Assistant Commissioner of Labor (Social Security Scheme).
  • All those who already have the registration card can check their details on the website. Only candidates who have completed and are about to complete renewal should apply for renewal.
  • You can log in to the website to view your details and make corrections when necessary.
