Kerala Kaivalya Scheme 2024
The government of Kerala Has started the Kaivalya Scheme to Empower the Youth of the State. The Scheme focuses on providing Self Employment to those people who are Disabled. The scheme comprises four components; Vocational and Career Guidance, Capacity Building, Coaching classes for Competitive Exams, and Interest-free Loans for Self Employment Ventures.
Components of the Kerala Kaivalya Scheme
The Kaivalya Scheme comprises four components to provide Basic Empowerment to those Candidates who are Disabled.
1. Vocational and Career Guidance
Under this component, career guidance classes, motivation, information regarding career opportunities, and information regarding services and benefits for the physically challenged are imparted to a homogeneous group of candidates selected from the registrants of Employment Exchanges. The above services will also be given in cooperation with services of Special Schools, Non-Governmental Organisations, and other institutions for physically challenged candidates.
2. Capacity Building
This Component focuses on Empowering the Candidates to Face Challenges in the Path of Competition for Suitable Careers nas To Reach their Goal.
3. Training for Competitive Exams
This Component of the Scheme provides training for Competitive Exams for Job Opportunities Notified By the Quasi Government and PSU like Banking exams.
4. Self-Employment Ventures
Under this component, beneficiaries are Provided with a loan of Rs. 50,000, in which 50% Amount is Given as a Government Subsidy while the other 50% is given as an Interest loan by a Recognised Bank.

Kaivalya Scheme Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates should be registrants of the Employment Exchange.
- The age of the Candidate must be between 21 years and 55 years.
- Annual Family Income Must be less than 2 Lakhs.
- Candidates should be able to read and write.
- In cases where the candidates are not able to look after themselves their Father/mother/son/daughter/husband/wife are allowed to avail of the Self Employment loans.
- Candidates who avail of employment loans are excluded from the Unemployment Assistance Scheme.
- These beneficiaries are also eligible for nomination for regular vacancies through Employment Exchanges.
- Candidates can avail of employment loans for joint ventures also.
- Each individual is given a maximum of Rs.50,000/. Also, there is a provision for sanctioning the amount up to one lakh, subject to the viability of the project.
- 50% of the loan amount is given as a subsidy.

- On the Homepage You will have to Download Kaivalya Application Form.
- Fill out the Application Form with your Personal Details, Address, and Mobile Number.
- Fill the Account Details with a passport-size-size photo.
- Attach all the Related Documents with the Form.
- Submit It to the Nearest Employment Exchange Registration office.
